A number of local installers will be engaged by Future Grid to undertake specific works and site assessments to enable successful Virtual Power Plant participants to be enrolled in the Solar Connect trial. Additional installers will be engaged as the project progresses.

Installer training
Energy software company, SwitchDin have been selected as the VPP platform provider for the Solar Connect trials. All Future Grid installers will be required to obtain SwitchDin accreditation, which is free of charge and and takes around 1 hour to complete.
The free SwitchDin training is available online.
