Solar Connect is a solar and battery trial linking households into a Virtual Power Plant (VPP). Households connected to the VPP will be able to contribute solar and battery energy, helping to support the grid and earning a monthly credit in return.
During the trial, information will be collected by Future Grid Project Partners on the performance of your solar PV system, battery system (if you have one) and importantly how these systems can be aggregated and used to inform future tariffs and respond to remote operational signals to provide essential system services.
