Reference Group: members wanted

The Arid Lands Environment Centre (ALEC) is the Project Lead for community engagement activities related to Future Grid. ALEC is welcoming expressions of interest from people who would like to be members of the Alice Springs Future Grid Reference Group.

Members will provide valuable input and feedback on Future Grid activities; represent community interests regarding renewable energy in Alice Springs; provide expertise where relevant; and help raise awareness of project activities within the community.

Members of the reference group will meet no more than once per month between June 2021 and June 2022. Active participation by members is valued.

Submit your expression of interest

We are seeking up to 12 people to represent local Alice Springs community interests, with membership largely consisting of individuals rather than organisational representatives.

Membership is open to community members with expertise and specific areas of knowledge and an aspiration to see the success of the Future Grid project. However, a background in renewable energy is not essential and people with no prior knowledge are welcome to apply.

Initial recruitment will be complete by June 30, so express your interest today!
