Intyalheme Project Manager Hannah Farrow delivered an update on one of the critical components of the Alice Springs Future Grid project at the Knowledge Intersections Symposium. She focused on Future Grid’s knowledge sharing efforts, which are mostly conducted as part of its commitment to funding body ARENA (the Australian Renewable Energy Agency). ARENA has a substantial focus on knowledge sharing as part of its core mandate to reduce barriers to renewable energy within the Australian Market. Meanwhile, a significant effort to engage the Alice Springs community is underway concurrently, and Hannah was able to share some early insights around residents’ knowledge, attitudes and behaviour when it comes to renewable energy.
